Whats a good sport bike for beginners?

Im a taller fella, 6'5, and I really like the Suzuki GSXR-750. It seems to fit my taller frame better. It is still a mean bike and you need to have respect for it, or it will end up riding you. The Yamaha R6 or a CBR-600 would be a good choice too. Any of these would be a good bike if you have some experience, but again, respect the bikes power.
