My boyfriend and I are planning on taking this college course together, Will we benefit from it?????????

My college offers this marriage and family course to students and my boyfriend and I were thinking about taking it. We live together so we are technically a family of our own, but this class also deals with the sexual roles and concepts of marriage and family aspects such as how important marriage, single-hood, sex, courtship and divorce is. We have talked about getting married and having a family one day but we have no clue what makes the two come together, marriage and family I mean. Will we benefit from the class or is it a waste of time and money to take the class together as a couple?
