My mini atv wont start at alll?

its a 50cc 4wheeler, i bought it 3days ago. it worked fine then yesterday after i got back from riding it i gave it a washed and then it wouldnt start (i think i shorted something out cuz it wasnt getting power) but i played around with it today and i had to repace a wire so now it Does get power. but Now the damn thing just wont start?? and yes it is getting gas as when i turn the bike sideways gas comes out of the carb
